The 8th KTU and Career Fair, organized as part of the Science, Culture, and Art Week (BKS'24) held at our university between May 18-26, 2024, has opened its doors to students and visitors who wish to make the right choices for their university and career.

The fair, scheduled for May 22-23, 2024, at our university, aims to provide secondary and high school students from Trabzon and surrounding provinces with more information about their desired professions and departments as their transition to higher education.

Held at our university's Prof. Dr. Osman Turan Culture and Congress Center on May 22-23, 2024, the fair was attended by academic and administrative staff from various relevant departments, as well as a large number of students.

Stalls were set up by departments under our university's faculties, including Dentistry, Pharmacy, Letters, Science, Economics and Administrative Sciences, Architecture, Engineering, Of Faculty of Technology, Forestry, Health Sciences, Sürmene Marine Sciences, Medicine, and affiliated vocational schools such as Araklı Ali Cevat Özyurt Vocational School, Arsin Vocational School, Maçka Vocational School, Health Services Vocational School, Sürmene Abdullah Kanca Vocational School, and Trabzon Vocational School. These stalls provided an environment where visitors and students could obtain information about the departments and careers.

The highly attended promotional stands, equipped with tangible outputs of the education provided by various departments and units of our university, offered comprehensive presentations about the respective departments and careers to the students. Students engaged directly with the academicians of the respective departments, gaining answers to all their queries.

Expressing his thoughts on the fair, our Rector Prof. Dr. Hamdullah Çuvalcı said, "With the 8th KTU and Career Fair we have organized as an institution, we offer guidance services to students in their university and career preferences. The aim of the 8th KTU and Career Fair is to provide students in the process of transitioning to higher education with a visionary perspective and to equip them with institutional knowledge to encourage them to choose our university."
