5 Projects from KTU Qualified to be Supported Within the Scope of TÜBİTAK 1001 Program
The scientific evaluation process of the projects proposed to the Academic Research Funding Program Directorate (ARDEB) in the 2nd period of 2023 within the scope of TÜBİTAK "1001- Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Program" has been completed.
In the second term of the year 2023, 1,388 projects evaluated under the TÜBİTAK 1001 Program successfully underwent scientific assessment. As a result of the evaluation, it was decided to support 255 project proposals. Among the approved 255 projects, 5 projects from our university earned the right to receive support. Additionally, our university ranked 14th among the universities whose projects were supported.
Among the 24 project applications submitted from our university, 5 projects earned the right to be supported. With these successful projects, KTU secured the 12th position among the 23 Research Universities determined under the Research-Oriented Mission Differentiation and Specialization Program by the Higher Education Council. Additionally, it was decided to allow the submission of 3 project proposals from our university for the next period without waiting for the subsequent round.
