A Meeting Was Held for the Presentation of the 2024-2028 Strategic Plan

Our university's strategic plan for the period 2024-2028, which will come into effect on January 1, 2024, was introduced through a meeting.

Our University's 2024-2028 Strategic Plan Presentation Meeting, organized by the Coordination Office of Corporate Development and Planning, took place at the Osman Turan Culture and Congress Center with the participation of our Rector, Prof. Dr. Hamdullah ÇUVALCI. The meeting was attended by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Hamdullah ÇUVALCI, along with Vice Rectors: Prof. Dr. Akif CİNEL, Prof. Dr. Cemil RAKICI, Prof. Dr. Halil İbrahim OKUMUŞ, Acting Secretary General Prof. Dr. Bünyamin ER, Advisor to the Rector Lecturer Ali Haydar DOĞU, Deans, Vice Deans, Department Chairs, Graduate School Directors, School and Vocational School Directors, Application and Research Center Directors and Deputy Directors, Coordinators, various unit managers of our University, and representatives of the Legal Consultancy.

Emphasis on Competent Students

During the meeting, our University Rector, Prof. Dr. Hamdullah ÇUVALCI, provided a detailed presentation to the participants, emphasizing a strategic plan centered around competent students. He highlighted key issues such as determining the priorities which our university aims to focus on in the medium and long term, ensuring financial discipline in the budget preparation and implementation process, distributing our resources according to strategic priorities, monitoring whether resources are effectively used, and enhancing accountability.

In the plan, Attention was Drawn to Main Themes

Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Hamdullah ÇUVALCI, emphasized that the main themes in KTU's new 5-year strategic plan include preference level, accreditation, graduate education, student-centered education, research capacity, research quality, research interaction and collaboration, researching students, effective application and research centers, depth in quality, institutional culture and belonging, dissemination of knowledge to society, stakeholder collaboration, UN sustainable development goals, and alumni relations. He expressed gratitude to the Strategic Planning Team, Strategy Development Department, and all members of the Board, Commission, and Working Groups who contributed to the preparation of the new strategic plan.

The meeting, which highlighted the main themes of Education, Research, Institutional Capacity, and Social Contribution, concluded with discussions and a group photo.
