STUDENT CLUBS
There are nearly 70 student clubs established by student initiatives where they can spend their extracurricular time, gain organizational, management, teamwork, and communication skills, and healthily develop their talents and personalities. For a student club to be established, at least 20 (twenty) students must come together and apply for it. The application is made to the Directorate of Health, Culture, and Sports with the following documents: letter of application for establishing a club, the club member list, the club's bylaws, the name and surname of the proposed academic advisor, and signed confirmation that they accept being an advisor.
Student Clubs operate under the Directorate of Health, Culture, and Sports. The Directorate of Health, Culture, and Sports organizes the activities of student clubs and submits their requests to the Rectorate.
Student Clubs carry out their activities according to the Directive for Karadeniz Technical University Student Clubs. Clubs are obliged to inform the University Student Clubs Supervision and Coordination Board about the activities they will organize and obtain its approval fifteen days in advance.
