Academic Cooperation Protocol Signed Between Karadeniz Technical University and Baku State University

Karadeniz Technical University (KTU), in alignment with its internationalization vision, has entered into an Academic Cooperation Protocol (MoU) with Baku State University (BSU), one of Azerbaijan’s oldest and most prestigious higher education institutions.

Founded in 1919, Baku State University is Azerbaijan’s first modern university and has earned international recognition through its programs in both natural and social sciences. With its long-standing academic heritage and regional influence, the university is considered one of the scientific and educational anchors of the South Caucasus.

Under the terms of the newly signed protocol, both institutions are committed to expanding opportunities for student and faculty exchange, collaborating on joint research projects, organizing joint seminars, conferences and workshops, and enhancing academic and cultural interaction on multiple fronts.
