An online meeting was held between Asiman Ilyasov, Advisor to the Rector of Baku State University, and Dr. UlaÅŸ Kutsi Çezik, Coordinator for Internationalization at Karadeniz Technical University, focusing on the QS General Rankings and QS Impact Rankings.

During the meeting, both institutions discussed their current strategies and practices related to international rankings. The participants exchanged insights on strengthening institutional policies, improving data management, and enhancing global visibility to achieve sustainable progress in the QS rankings.

The meeting also addressed the development of new collaboration areas within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) recently signed between Karadeniz Technical University and Baku State University. Potential joint initiatives were explored in fields such as research collaboration, academic exchange, and sustainability-focused projects, which align with both institutions’ shared goals of promoting excellence, innovation, and international engagement in higher education.

This meeting marks an important step in Karadeniz Technical University’s ongoing efforts to enhance its institutional performance in global university rankings and expand its network of sustainable international partnerships.
