KTU Students Take a Global Step!
Karadeniz Technical University (KTU) continues to open new doors for its students in line with its vision of internationalization and its global academic cooperation network. As part of the bilateral agreements established within this framework, İdris Çakmak, a student in the Department of International Relations at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, traveled to South Korea to undertake a semester of study at Changwon National University, one of the country’s well-established higher education institutions.
Every year, Karadeniz Technical University sends successful students to partner universities around the world through international exchange programs and bilateral agreements (MoUs). The partnership with Changwon National University, one of the key links in the academic bridges established with the Far East, provides students with the opportunity to experience Asia’s dynamic cultural and academic environment.
The semester-long mobility undertaken by İdris Çakmak, a student in the Department of International Relations, has been recorded as one of the tangible achievements of the cooperation between the two universities. Students from KTU who travel to South Korea regularly each year enrich their academic knowledge from a global perspective while also successfully representing our university on the international stage.
Through such exchange programs, the university administration aims to enhance students’ awareness of global citizenship, encourage cultural exchange, and provide them with a competitive advantage in their careers after graduation.
