Karadeniz Technical University (KTU) was awarded the ‘Startup Friendly University’ award at the Startup Investment Summit 2024 event. At the event held on 4 December 2024, the award was presented to the Director of Technology Transfer Application and Research Centre (KTU TTC) on behalf of KTU. Prof. Dr. Emrah Ayvaz was presented to him.

Startup Investment Summit, organised by in4startups and Asya Ventures, is a prestigious event that brings together investors, entrepreneurs, ecosystem stakeholders and academics to strengthen Turkey's entrepreneurship ecosystem. At the summit, innovative projects and institutions that support entrepreneurship are awarded and contribute to the development of the ecosystem.
