"Project Development and Access to National & International Funding" Training Successfully Held in Trabzon

The training programme titled "Project Development and Access to National & International Funds", developed within the framework of the QUEST – Quadruple Helix-Based Enhancement of Stakeholders at Black Sea Territory Project, funded by the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme, was successfully held with the hosting of the Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI).

Organized through the collaboration of our Center and the Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI), the training programme attracted significant interest from participants representing various institutions and organizations. Throughout the programme, participants received comprehensive information on project development, access to national and international funding opportunities, and application procedures.

The main objective of the QUEST Project is to enhance the capacity of institutions and organizations—particularly those operating in the blue economy sector—to benefit more effectively from national and international funding programmes, strengthen their institutional capacities, and foster sustainable cooperation. In line with this objective, the training programme aimed to improve participants’ competencies in project writing and project management.

During the training, a wide range of topics were covered, including Project Cycle Management, access to funding sources, call analysis, project budget preparation, consortium building, and the commercialization of project outputs. The sessions, delivered by experienced trainers and experts in the field, combined theoretical knowledge with practical examples and case studies.

At the end of the programme, it was observed that participants had gained valuable knowledge and skills to manage project development processes more effectively, while also increasing their awareness of opportunities for national and international collaboration.
