"Project Development and Access to National & International Funding" Training Successfully Held in Sinop
The training program entitled “Project Development and Access to National & International Funding”, developed within the framework of the QUEST – Quadruple Helix-Based Enhancement of Stakeholders at Black Sea Territory Project, funded by the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme, was successfully held in Sinop in cooperation with the KOSGEB Sinop Directorate and hosted by the Sinop Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Organized jointly by our Center and the Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the training attracted significant interest from representatives of various public institutions, private sector organizations, and other stakeholders. Participants were provided with comprehensive information on project development, access to national and international funding opportunities, and proposal preparation processes.
The main objective of the QUEST Project is to enhance the capacity of institutions and organizations—particularly those operating in the blue economy sector—to benefit more effectively from national and international funding programmes, strengthen their institutional capabilities, and foster sustainable cooperation networks. In line with these objectives, the training aimed to improve participants’ competencies in project development and project management.
Throughout the programme, participants received both theoretical knowledge and practical insights on key topics, including Project Cycle Management, access to funding opportunities, call analysis, project budgeting, consortium building, and the commercialization of project results. The sessions were delivered by experienced experts, combining presentations with practical examples and interactive discussions.
At the end of the programme, participants demonstrated increased knowledge and skills in managing project development processes more effectively, while also gaining greater awareness of opportunities for establishing national and international partnerships and collaborations.
