One of the faculty members of our university, Sürmene Faculty of Marine Sciences, Department of Fisheries Technology Engineering, Dr. Lecturer. The project application titled “Nature of Aquatic Environment: Inclusion and Rising Awareness in Diverse Societies”, which was carried out by Dr. Åžebnem ATASARAL and submitted to the call for proposals opened within the scope of Erasmus + Program KA2 Partnerships in Higher Education (KA220-HED) in 2024, was entitled to be supported.

The total budget of the project, coordinated by “Karadeniz Technical University” from Turkey, in partnership with St. Kliment Ohridski University from North Macedonia, Mare Nostrum, a non-governmental organization from Romania, and Trabzon University from Turkey, is 250,000 Euros.
