Survey Results (2022–2025): Summary

Aggregate results from 251 responses to the four surveys in 2022–2025. On the 1–5 scale, 1 is the lowest and 5 the highest satisfaction.

  • New Student (2022–2025, 4 entry cohorts, 109 responses): Commitment to the department rose every year. The share not considering a change of department rose from 62% to 87%, and the share not considering a change of university from 0% to 67%; those not satisfied with being placed in the department fell from 15% to 2%. Sports facilities were the lowest-rated area in all four cohorts.
  • Student Satisfaction (2024–2025, 127 responses): The overall satisfaction index was 3.41 and 3.24 (the difference between the two years is not statistically significant). Satisfaction with the department is 0.7–0.8 points above satisfaction with the faculty; the lowest scores concern faculty facilities (location and transport, cleanliness).
  • Alumni (2025, 9 responses): All responding graduates are employed; 6 work in a field-related job (one runs their own business). As a single wave this is a baseline, and employed graduates may have been more likely to respond.
  • Employer / Stakeholder (2025, 6 responses): Graduates' competencies were rated 4.1/5 on average; the lowest scores were for using modern software tools (3.6) and interdisciplinary teamwork (3.75). Baseline measurement.

Results are shared only in aggregate; open-ended comments and breakdowns by individual or small subgroup are not published, in line with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK).
