Karadeniz Technical University (KTU) is pleased to announce the call for applications for incoming student mobility-second round within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA171 project.

This mobility opportunity aims to promote intercultural learning, academic exchange, and international cooperation among partner institutions.

1. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Be officially enrolled in a partner higher education institution with a valid Inter-Institutional Agreement under Erasmus+ KA171.
• Be registered in a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree program.
• Have completed at least one academic term at their home institution.
• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of:
  • 2.20/4.00 for undergraduate students
  • 2.50/4.00 for postgraduate (master’s or doctoral) students
• Be able to demonstrate proficiency B2 in English or Turkish (through a certificate or institutional language exam).

Only students enrolled in the fields of study specified in the available quotas may carry out their mobility at the corresponding academic units.

Applications which fail to comply with the special requirements will be considered ineligible.

 2. SELECTION INFORMATION and NOTIFICATION

Applications are received by partner institutions, evaluated transparently by a selection committee appointed by the university, and reported to Karadeniz Technical University, which is the project coordinator.

The number of main and alternate candidates specified in the table are subject to a second evaluation by the Karadeniz Technical University Selection Committee.

The second selection process will be conducted by an officially appointed Selection Committee at KTU, ensuring transparency, impartiality, and documentation-based procedures in accordance with the Turkish National Agency Handbook.

The selection will be carried out by Karadeniz Technical University according to the following weighted criteria:

Applicants with disabilities and/or fewer opportunities, as defined in the Erasmus+ Handbook and verified by the required official documentation, will receive an additional 10 points.

Results will be announced by email to all applicants and shared with the partner institutions.

Selected students will receive an official acceptance letter and further instructions for mobility arrangements.

The evaluation criteria has been determined by KTU Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator within the scope of the Erasmus+ Handbook for Higher Education Institutions published by the Directorate for EU Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye (Turkish National Agency), the Directive of International Relations Office, and Directive of Erasmus Program of the Karadeniz Technical University, Republic of Türkiye.

2026-2027 Academic Year

Autumn Semester : 14/09/2026-31/01/2027

Spring Semester : 01/02/2027-04/07/2027

Selected students are required to complete their mobility activity without interruption.
