🚨 Attendance Requirement
For students taking the course for the first time, the laboratory attendance requirement is 80%; students who exceed the absence limit cannot take the end-of-term exam. There is no laboratory attendance requirement for students repeating the Physics I course.
📖 Preparation for the Experiment
Before coming to the experiment, the relevant experiment sheet must be read carefully and the theoretical preparation must be completed.
📍 Place, Date, and Time
The experiments will be held on the dates and at the times given in the schedule announced below, in the Basic Physics Laboratory (Energy Systems Engineering Laboratory Block, 1st Floor). Be present in the laboratory at your group’s time.
🔧 During the Experiment and Safety
During the experiment, every student will participate actively in the measurement and wiring tasks. For laboratory safety, it is mandatory to comply fully with all SAFETY RULES.
📝 Reports and Evaluation
Report requirement: There is no requirement to prepare an experiment report for the experiments.
Evaluation and exams: The experiments will contribute to the course grade through the theoretical exams. One question each on the content and applications of the experiments will be asked in the midterm, final, and make-up exams.
📊 Announcement of Correct Values
The week after the experiment is performed, the correct values that should have been measured will be posted on the laboratory bulletin board and will remain posted for one week. Taking part in the experiments and comparing your own data with the posted correct values is important for answering the questions that will be asked in the exams.
Experiments are held in the Basic Physics Laboratory (Energy Systems Engineering Laboratory Block, 1st Floor).
In accordance with the protection of personal data (KVKK), student numbers do not appear in the lists and surnames are abbreviated. If you are unsure about your group, please consult the experiment supervisors.
