Research and Development Incentive Award success for our student Nurullo Mahamadjono

Our first-year student Nurullo Mahamadjonov achieved an important success with the project idea titled "A Semantic Communication-Based Risk-Weighted Route Planning System for Integrated UAV-USV Systems", prepared under the guidance of his advisor Asst. Prof. Dr. Erhan Sesli.
Our student earned the R&D Incentive Award in the fourth "Reaching and Accessing Türkiye 2053 Inter-University R&D Idea Competition" organized by the Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Research Center Directorate.
The project proposes a more efficient, safe, and condition-adaptive route planning system based on a semantic communication approach for operations in which UAV and USV systems work together. In this respect, it offers an innovative solution in areas such as disasters, search and rescue, and challenging field conditions.
On behalf of our department, we congratulate our student Nurullo Mahamadjonov and his advisor Asst. Prof. Dr. Erhan Sesli and wish them continued success.
