Graduation Projects Poster and Presentation Exhibition Held

“EHM Project Showcase 2026: Graduation Projects Poster and Presentation Exhibition”, organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Karadeniz Technical University, was held in the department building on June 16, 2026.

As part of the event, students of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering presented the graduation projects they had worked on throughout the year to the department's faculty members and attendees through posters and project presentations. Projects developed in diverse areas such as communication systems, artificial intelligence, radar technologies, embedded systems, optical systems, defense technologies, IoT, and image processing were exhibited as successful examples of students applying their engineering knowledge in practice.

The projects in the exhibition were evaluated by the department's faculty members in terms of technical content, originality, applicability, presentation quality, and engineering approach. As a result of the evaluation, the three highest-scoring projects were determined.

Top 3 Highest-Scoring Projects

  1. Development of an Optical-Lever-Based Laser Microphone
  2. Design of a Metamaterial Absorber and FMCW Radar System Operating in the 5.8 GHz ISM Band: Effects of the Metamaterial Absorber on Radar Cross Section (RCS)
  3. Traffic Light Control with Artificial Intelligence
