Caner BİNER and K. Şevval İNCİ, fourth-year students in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, achieved an important success at the nationally organized TeknOcak Technology and Innovation Festival.

Our students won first place in Türkiye with their “Traffic Light Control with Artificial Intelligence” project in the festival's “Smart Cities, Tourism, Transportation, and Logistics Systems” category.

The project aims to analyze traffic density in real time using artificial intelligence algorithms and to manage traffic lights dynamically. In this way, it targets reducing waiting times in the city, improving traffic flow, and lowering carbon emissions.

We congratulate our students Caner BİNER and K. Şevval İNCİ, who make our university proud, and wish them continued success.
