The Department of Architecture has been uninterruptedly continuing education since 1963. It started its first activities about quality standards in 2016 to achieve and maintain quality standards.  Following the first meeting of the Accreditation Board in the department on October 30, 2019, the work on quality was completed in a short time, depending on the application conditions of the Architectural Accreditation Board (AAB). The Self-Evaluation Report, which was prepared for the first time in 2016, was updated in 2020. With the acceptance of the letter of intent submitted to AAB on February 3, 2020, the accreditation process officially started. The accreditation process, whose Visiting Team was determined on April 2, 2021, is currently at the stage of reviewing the Self-Assessment Report.
