Objective 1: Enhance the Quality of Education

Goal 1.1: Increase the productivity of academic staff. - Target 1.1.1: Reduce the student-to-faculty ratio. - Target 1.1.2: Incorporate academic staff from different expertise areas into the departmental academic team. - Target 1.1.3: Support the training of qualified researchers in priority research areas.

Goal 1.2: Improve student quality. - Target 1.2.1: Instill research and exploration skills in undergraduate students beyond coursework. - Target 1.2.2: Increase the number of students participating in international exchange programs, emphasizing global experience. - Target 1.2.3: Support student participation in domestic and international education activities such as summer schools, workshops, and internships. - Target 1.2.4: Encourage student participation in national and regional events. - Target 1.2.5: Develop support reward systems to enhance student achievement levels. - Target 1.2.6: Establish communication systems for placing students in workplaces during internships and upon graduation. - Target 1.2.7: Support the development of students' English academic writing and speaking skills. - Target 1.2.8: Ensure effective promotion of the department to attract qualified students.

Goal 1.3: Keep undergraduate and graduate programs up-to-date and strengthen them. - Target 1.3.1: Keep course contents and teaching methods up-to-date. - Target 1.3.2: Increase the number and diversity of elective courses in the undergraduate program to meet the requirements of updated technology. - Target 1.3.3: Update the undergraduate program to meet the requirements of a multidisciplinary workforce. - Target 1.3.4: Train high-quality students in graduate education and prepare the ground for opening a doctoral program.

Goal 1.4: Organize online courses and degree programs. Goal 1.5: Ensure the participation of industry representatives, domestic and international students, and faculty members in our department's educational programs. Goal 1.6: Ensure the continuity of processes aimed at improving the department's hardware such as computers, internet, and laboratories.

Goal 1.7: Support student development. - Target 1.7.1: Ensure the adaptation of new students to the university and provide necessary counseling support throughout their studies. - Target 1.7.2: Support students' social, artistic, cultural, and sports activities. - Target 1.7.3: Inform students about scholarships provided by government, regional, university, and industrial organizations.

Objective 2: Enhance Research Capacity

Goal 2.1: Increase the number of publications in reputable scientific journals and conferences. Goal 2.2: Emphasize the number of citations to publications. Goal 2.3: Improve the quality of thesis topics in the department. - Target 2.3.1: Determine thesis topics according to the R&D needs of public and industrial organizations and encourage work in these areas.

Goal 2.4: Ensure the participation of academic staff and undergraduate and graduate students in TUBITAK, EU-supported, and BAP projects. Goal 2.5: Increase the contribution of academic staff to interdisciplinary programs. Goal 2.6: Support the development of Technoparks. Goal 2.7: Develop prototype systems used in the industry. Goal 2.8: Encourage activities aimed at obtaining patents.

Objective 3: Develop Human Resources in Line with a Quality-Oriented Management Approach

Goal 3.1: Ensure the continuous employment of academic staff meeting the needs of education, research, and social service areas and support their development. Goal 3.2: Conduct studies (meetings, surveys, face-to-face interviews, etc.) to determine the satisfaction levels and problems of academic staff. Goal 3.3: Carry out motivational activities to achieve the set goals. Goal 3.4: Strengthen communication with graduates. Goal 3.5: Develop relationships with industrial organizations, government institutions, laboratories, and financial institutions and strengthen partnerships. Goal 3.6: Develop relationships with regional high-quality secondary education institutions. Goal 3.7: Increase the competency of administrative staff and ensure the continuity of their satisfaction. Goal 3.8: Establish mechanisms to ensure transparency and accountability in all activities.

Objective 4: Improve Social Services

Goal 4.1: Organize public seminars, training sessions, and events to disseminate knowledge to society and increase academic visibility.
