Engineering Design is one of our compulsory courses to be taken in the fall semester of the 4th year. It is a prerequisite for the Graduation Project course in the Spring term. In the spring semester of the 3rd year (April-May), our students submit 5 preferences for the topics they would like to work on.
The Department Head's Office assigns students to faculty members according to topic preferences. Since Project Advisors are thus determined before the summer break begins, students can continue their work over the summer months and apply to TÜBİTAK Support Programs in September.
Students who do not make a topic preference in April-May must make it by September at the latest, during the Add-Drop week.
Students enrolled in the course in the Spring Term must choose their topics within the first 2 weeks through the link in Application Files. Advisor assignment will be made in the 3rd week.

Project presentations are held within the last 3 days of the final exams at the end of each term.
The visual quality of presentations, as well as their technical adequacy, is among the evaluation criteria.
