Tasks of the Internship Commission: • Ensure the preparation of necessary documents for Urban and Regional Planning Department students to apply for internships. • Research institutions and organizations where students can do internships, and distribute official internship positions to students. • Review the work files of students who have completed their internships (office, site internship) and ensure that they present their work to all department members, staff, and students openly. • Supervise and evaluate whether the student has benefited from the internship, prepare documents to be sent to student affairs, and process them into the university's web-based student information system.

Tasks of the Erasmus-Sokrates - ETCS Commission: • Examine international student and faculty exchange programs, develop proposals, and announce them to department members. • Make arrangements for the department's course programs according to ETCS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System). • Initiate and maintain relationships regarding student-faculty exchanges with Urban and Regional Planning departments of different universities abroad.

Tasks of the Adaptation Commission: • Evaluate the application documents of students who want to transfer horizontally/vertically to our department from other universities and departments, as well as those who want to pursue a double major or minor, and assess the equivalency of exams such as central placement exams, exams for foreign students, etc. Also, guide students about the courses they need to take. Ensure that processes are completed within the academic calendar and archive the procedures.

Tasks of the Student Communication and Events Commission: • Research national and international relations, follow the agenda of Urban and Regional Planning, and announce it to students. • Coordinate between students and the department in events organized by students. • Facilitate communication between student clubs and the department management. • Maintain communication with our graduates. • Conduct surveys to gather and evaluate students' requests and thoughts regarding their educational process. • Organize educational forums. • Exhibit successful projects and works of Urban and Regional Planning students. • Improve communication and social relationships among Urban and Regional Planning students and faculty members internally and externally. • Collaborate with other Urban and Regional Planning departments and organizations to facilitate information exchange through exhibitions. • Investigate collaboration opportunities with other universities and organize conferences. • Invite guest lecturers, freelance planners-designers, company representatives, and speakers. • Research scholarship opportunities for Urban and Regional Planning students from various institutions and evaluate applications, rank candidates, and make selections. • Jointly conduct annual departmental educational activities with the archive-publication commission.
