Assists the department chair in organizing and coordinating organizations such as scientific and social seminars, conferences and meetings to be organized by the Metallurgy and Materials Engineering Department within the academic year.

In addition, it is among the duties of this commission to have the courses taken at the higher education institution that the student attended before counted instead of their equivalents and to arrange course exemptions. While fulfilling these duties, the commission applies the principles regarding the class adjustment and course exemptions of the students of the Faculty of Engineering of Karadeniz Technical University.
MEVLANA, ERASMUS, FARABI COMMISSION	Associate Professor Mustafa ASLAN Research Assistant Gökhan HEKİMOĞLU Research Assistant Kürşat İCİN Student Representative: Yılmaz DURMUŞ	To carry out student and lecturer exchange programs such as Mevlana, Erasmus and Farabi, to increase bilateral relations, to carry out course adaptation and the conversion of the passing grades of returning students, to try to find solutions to the problems of the students in this program, to contribute to the harmony and solution of the problems of the incoming students, to make relevant correspondence. .

Announcement of Engineering Design and Graduation Thesis topics, coordination between students and homework advisors, announcement and organization of the final project juries are among the duties of this commission.

In addition, when necessary, it gives opinions on the issues related to the students in the Academic Committee of the Department.

Thanks to these meetings, it is ensured that the compliance of the department with the program outputs is questioned by internal and external stakeholders. The Commission also takes care of liaising with our graduate students and organizing technical events such as Career Days Seminars for current students. The commission's duties include not only technical studies but also social responsibility projects. Documenting and providing documentation of these activities is also among the duties of this commission.
