Seas and oceans are critical habitats that preserve our planet’s ecological balance and provide food and livelihoods for billions of people. Sustainable Development Goal 14 aims to conserve marine and ocean ecosystems, ensure the sustainable use of marine resources, and reduce marine pollution. Karadeniz Technical University contributes to marine health and the sustainability of underwater life through scientific research and national–international collaborations aligned with this goal.
