Following the changes and developments in Russian Language and Literature at a national and international level, the department endeavor to raise productive individuals equipped with the ability of doing research and analysis, and who are also able to express these skills both verbal and written in an academic way with a team of visionary dynamic academicians who use the latest scientific methods. The department aims to enhance the quality of education, by making exchange students and academician agreements with various universities.
Our mission is to raise future educators-researchers who are competent, well-equipped, bright-minded, and also who have the knowledge of comparative literature. When the relations between Turkey and Russia, and the historical and the geographical conditions of Turkey is considered, it?s extremely vital to make up for the academic deficiency.
