The “World’s Most Influential Scientists” list, prepared by Stanford University based on 2025 data and published in the Elsevier database, has been announced.

Prof. Dr. Gökay Nemli and Prof. Dr. Ä°smail Aydın, from the Department of Forest Industry Engineering at the Faculty of Forestry, Karadeniz Technical University, were honoured for their inclusion in the “Career-Long Impact” category of the “World’s Most Influential Scientists” list.

This achievement, which reflects the scientific impact of their research throughout their academic careers, is a source of pride for our department and faculty. Their contributions to the field of forest industry engineering also serve as an inspiring example for our young researchers and students.
