Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Career Days 1- Awareness Event was held on Monday, 28.11.2022 at 10:00 am at SFMS Ayşe Saime Murtezaoğlu Conference Hall.

The event started with the opening speeches of the Head of Naval Architecture  and Marine Engineering Department Assoc. Dr. Betül SARAÇ and the Dean of Sürmene Faculty of Marine Sciences Prof. Dr. Ali Muzaffer FEYZİOĞLU.

In the first part, Mr. Abidin ÖKTEM, General Manager of TUNEMAR MARINE SOLUTIONS company, and Mr. Emrullah Kuru, General Manager of BTMboya company, made company introduction and career speeches.

In the second part, in the form of questions and answers between the students of the Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Department and the company officials; companies, careers, internship and job opportunities in the shipbuilding sector, and the future of the sector were interviewed.

The event ended with a plaque from Prof. Dr. Ercan KÖSE to Mr. Abidin ÖKTEM and Prof. Dr. Murat ÖZKÖK to Emrullah KURU and a collective photo shoot.
