Our Alumni Share Cutting-Edge Research from Japan

The "Alumni Event," organized by our department's student club KTÜGEN, was successfully held online on April 24, 2026, bringing together current students and our international alumni network.

The virtual event featured Enes Baki Ezer, an esteemed alumnus currently pursuing his Ph.D. at Niigata University in Japan. During the session, Ezer delivered a highly engaging and specialized presentation titled "The Impact of Predatory Protists on Bacterial Community Composition and Bacterial Volatile Organic Compounds (BVOCs)." He shared his latest academic research, comprehensive experimental data, and valuable international experiences with the participants.

This inspiring organization not only builds a robust communication bridge and facilitates cross-border knowledge transfer between our students and alumni but also directly contributes to our institution's strategic metric regarding the Number of events organized jointly with alumni.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our students for their active participation and to our guest speaker for his invaluable academic contributions across time zones.
