"Value-Adding to Hazelnuts" Award to Our University
Our university was honored with an award at the "Value-Adding to Hazelnuts Award Ceremony" held as part of the 3rd World Hazelnut Week, organized between 11–14 August 2025.
Organized by the Trabzon Commodity Exchange, the ceremony recognized KTU Technology Transfer Application and Research Center (TTM) in the "Value-Adding to Hazelnuts" category for its academic support to projects in the field of hazelnuts, collaborative initiatives, and valuable contributions to the sector. The plaque was presented to Vice Rector and Chair of the TTM Executive Board, Prof. Dr. Ömer Faruk URSAVAÅž, on behalf of the center.
Our university will continue to contribute to agricultural development both locally and nationally through projects that encourage innovative approaches in the regional agriculture and food sector, and support the transfer of scientific knowledge and technology.
