The project titled “Design and Production of a Potting Application Robot,” developed by KTU Electrical and Electronics Engineering students Melike EROL, Merve EROL, and Eda ABDÄ°OÄžLU, won first place in the LIFT UP Industry-Oriented Undergraduate Dissertation Program organized by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAÅž).

The project, supervised by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Åžinasi AYAS as academic advisor and Mahmut Tolga KARAKAÅž as industry advisor, ranked first among 359 projects evaluated within the program.

Developed in response to industry needs, the project provided an opportunity to transform undergraduate engineering work directly into practical applications. It also stood out as a tangible outcome of our University’s project-based and practice-oriented approach to education.

Our Rector Congratulates Students on Their Industry-Oriented Achievement

Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Hamdullah ÇUVALCI, stated that achievements in industry-oriented projects are an important reflection of students’ creativity and practical skills. He said, “We greatly value our students’ ability to transform their knowledge and expertise into projects and products that address the needs of industry. Such valuable collaborations between our students and industry encourage early involvement in research and development processes while also contributing to the development of a culture of innovation and production in engineering.
