As a research university, our institution prioritizes the development of a culture of intellectual property rights through the Technology Transfer Application and Research Center. In this context, inventions resulting from the scientific work of our academicians are supported with both financial assistance and expert personnel. All financial obligations during the patent application process are covered by our university, and the processes are carried out on national and international platforms.

To celebrate the success of our academicians who have made significant achievements in intellectual and industrial property rights, a ceremony was organized at our university. At the ceremony, held at the Rectorate Senate Hall with the participation of our Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Ömer Faruk URSAVAÅž, plaques were presented to our academicians for their registered national and international patents, utility models, and designs.

In his speech at the ceremony, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Faruk URSAVAÅž emphasized the importance our university places on research and innovation. He stated that our university is advancing toward becoming a leading institution not only in education but also in research and innovation. In this context, he noted that the patents and utility models developed by our academicians are significant indicators of our university's knowledge base and research capacity.
