Our University has achieved a significant milestone in the THE Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026, announced by Times Higher Education (THE), the international ranking organization that evaluates higher education institutions based on their contributions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). With an overall score of 71.8 out of 100, our University was ranked in the 401–600 band among 1,603 universities worldwide, reflecting its performance in education, research, societal engagement, and institutional governance activities that support sustainable development.

Compared with the previous year, our University advanced from the 1001–1500 band to the 401–600 band, demonstrating remarkable progress in sustainability performance. Moreover, its overall score increased from 57.8 to 71.8, marking a substantial 14-point improvement. One of the clearest indicators of this achievement is that the University improved its score across all 17 Sustainable Development Goals, highlighting a comprehensive and systematic approach to sustainability.

Among the World’s Best Universities in Terrestrial and Aquatic Ecosystems

The THE Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026 also revealed our University's outstanding international performance, particularly in the field of environmental sustainability.

Our University ranked:

• 53rd in the world for SDG 15 – Life on Land, with a score of 86.5;
• 83rd in the world for SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production, with a score of 81.9; and
• 78th in the world for SDG 14 – Life Below Water, with a score of 78.6.

These outstanding results demonstrate that our University's efforts in biodiversity conservation, sustainable resource management, environmental policies, waste reduction, circular economy practices, and the protection of marine ecosystems have gained international recognition.

In addition to its achievements in environmental sustainability, our University has also demonstrated strong performance in social impact and global partnerships. Our University was placed in the 101–200 band worldwide in the following categories:
