The NovaData team, consisting of students from Karadeniz Technical University's Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering and Software Engineering programs, won first place in the Trabzon stage of the NASA Space Apps Challenge with their EcoPulse project.

The EcoPulse project, which emerged after 32 hours of intensive work, stands out as a decision support system that analyzes environmental data obtained from NASA EarthData using artificial intelligence to measure the “ecological pulse” of cities in Turkey and provide environmental risk predictions for the future.

We congratulate our team on this meaningful achievement and wish them continued success as they represent our country and university on the global stage.
