In line with our objectives of inter-university collaboration and internationalization, our Head of Department, Prof. Dr. Vasif Nabiyev, is currently conducting academic engagements and educational activities at Aktobe University, Kazakhstan.

As the latest milestone of this strong collaboration, our university and department were represented with two distinguished presentations at the “International Scientific Seminar: Artificial Intelligence – Research, Development and Application”, held on February 18, 2026.

During this global forum addressing the future trajectory of artificial intelligence, our faculty members delivered the following presentations, focusing on both strategic and industrial dimensions of AI:

• Prof. Dr. Vasif Nabiyev: “Artificial Intelligence: Risks and Opportunities”

• Dr. Ercüment Öztürk: “Artificial Intelligence in Biocomposite Production”

The lectures and seminars delivered by our faculty members in Kazakhstan represent not only knowledge exchange but also strategic initiatives that further strengthen the academic ties between our institutions.
