Karadeniz Technical University (KTU) prioritizes the active inclusion of city and regional stakeholders in its decision-making processes. Across the university, as well as within faculties and academic units, advisory boards are established to maintain continuous communication and cooperation with local governments, non-governmental organizations, industry representatives, and other segments of society.

Through these advisory boards, workshops, and joint projects, stakeholder opinions are reflected in education, research, and community projects. This contributes to shaping the strategic planning and decision-making processes of the university and its academic units in line with local needs.
