Nigar Türkmen

Nigar Türkmen began her academic career at Başkent University, Department of Pathology Laboratory Techniques, graduating with top honors, and at same season, she completed a summer internship at Gülhane Military Medical Academy. In 2018, I completed my basic German language skills in Dortmund, Germany, as part of the PDL (Projekt Deutsch Lernen) program. I then continued my undergraduate studies in Molecular Biology and Genetics at Karadeniz Technical University, completing my mandatory internship at the Genetic Diseases Diagnostic Center of Gaziantep Dr. Ersin Arslan Training and Research Hospital. During my undergraduate studies, I participated in the TÜBİTAK 2247-C Intern Researcher Scholarship Program and graduated in 2022. I am currently pursuing my master's degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics at the Institute of Science and Technology, Karadeniz Technical University, under the supervision of Hacer Muratoğlu. She is continuing her thesis, which focuses on the neutralization of the virus through antibodies specific to the protein involved in the entry fusion of Amsacta moorei entomopoxvirus (AMEV).
