The aim of the finance program is to train personnel who will develop the necessary solutions to financial problems in the public and private sectors using scientific methods.

Finance Programme; The course focuses on public finance, public economics, tax, economics, accounting, statistics and law, and focuses on specific topics in the field of finance throughout the education period. Courses such as tax law, tax system, budget, local administration finance and financial jurisdiction can be given as examples.

Those who want to work in this field must be people who have the ability to think analytically, be organized, patient, careful, not bored of dealing with details, able to make appropriate and correct decisions and monitor the implementation of decisions.

The titles of those who graduate from the finance department vary depending on the institution they work for and their position. Those who work in the public sector are divided into two groups: those who supervise government expenditures and those who perform implementation duties. However, when necessary, those who perform implementation duties can also perform supervisory duties. Employees who perform audit duties in the public sector, especially in the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, work as Tax Inspectors. Employees who work in implementation can assume positions such as revenue specialist and accounting specialist. These personnel can also work in the relevant units of Municipalities and Special Provincial Administrations.

Those who are educated in the field of finance can find jobs in the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, Public Economic Enterprises, Local Administrations, the Court of Accounts and other public institutions, banks and various institutions of the private sector. Graduates of this field can also work independently by opening an office.
