Our mission is to educate researchers who are open to scientific developments in history and related fields and who can contribute to knowledge and creativity, who can prove to knowledge in a real sense with their studies. To develop candidates, efficient and sustainable manner, ensuring the continued enhancement of our historical heritage and the provision of a world-class research, teaching and learning environment.

Vision

To provide the necessary conditions for cooperation between universities in Turkey and abroad, to make joint projects,

To send our students to different universities for education and training with programs such as Erasmus and Farabi,

To increase the capacity of raising scientists in national and international fields,

To ensure the necessary educational staff and technical staff to provide a qualified education,

To create better working conditions (classrooms, computer rooms, etc.)

To carry out scientific activities like national and international symposium, panel and Congress periodically,

To provide interactive participation in the courses at each stage,

To apply the incentive and reward system for raising the quality of education and research in the department.

To contribute and lead the interdisciplinary research of master and doctoral students,
