KTU TTC contributes to the commercialization of academic research results and supports the transformation of scientific knowledge into economic value by directing the business sector toward R&D and innovation activities. In this context, sustainable collaboration mechanisms are developed between academics and industry.
By bringing together academics and industry representatives, these meetings facilitate the promotion of research, the development of academic solutions to technical challenges, and the creation of innovative collaborations.
The R&D needs of the industry are identified, and appropriate matches with academics are made. This ensures the transformation of academic knowledge into added value while providing academics with opportunities to implement and commercialize their projects.
Support is provided in developing, managing, and monitoring joint projects between academics and industry representatives. This enables collaborations to result in tangible outputs, allowing academics to effectively realize their projects and companies to conduct R&D activities more efficiently.
Undergraduate and graduate thesis studies are directed toward industry, contributing to the commercialization of academic knowledge. This includes guidance for programs supported by the private sector and public funds (e.g., TÜBÄ°TAK, KOSGEB), matching with companies, and project writing support.
In the process of transferring academic knowledge to industry, assistance is provided in preparing partnership, service, and consultancy agreements on behalf of the university. Researchers receive active support in initiating, conducting, and finalizing administrative procedures.
