Artificial Intelligence and the Future Panel

"Artificial Intelligence and the Future" Event to Be Held at KTU

Organized by the Department of Software Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of Karadeniz Technical University, the event titled “Artificial Intelligence and the Future” brings together leading academics in the field with students.

As part of the event, Prof. Dr. Ömer Delialioğlu from Middle East Technical University and Dr. Furkan Özçelik from Yale University will offer important insights on the current role of artificial intelligence and its future impacts.

In his presentation titled “Thinking with Artificial Intelligence,” Prof. Dr. Ömer Delialioğlu will address human-AI interaction and the concept of collaborative thinking, along with their ethical dimensions; Dr. Furkan Özçelik, in his talk titled “Artificial Intelligence: Applications, Risks, and Debates,” will evaluate the current applications of artificial intelligence along with its potential risks.

The event will include a panel discussion and a Q&A session following the presentations, allowing participants to engage actively. Dr. Merve Yıldırım, an Assistant Professor from the Department of Software Engineering at KTÜ, will moderate the session.

Offering an important platform for knowledge sharing for all students and researchers interested in artificial intelligence, the event aims to provide participants with both academic and industry perspectives.
