2024-25 SPRING SEMESTER PLACEMENT EXAM SESSIONS FOR NEWLY REGISTERED GRADUATE STUDENTS
VENUE: DEPARTMENT OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING GROUND FLOOR COMPUTER LABORATORY
(ENTRANCE TO THE EXAM HALL IS NEAR THE CANTEEN)
* Be in the hall at least five minutes before the exam.
* Have a photo ID with you.
* Have your personal wired headphones with you for listening questions.
Placement Exam results will be announced on the SAME DAY (05 FEBRUARY 2025) at 12.00, after all sessions are completed, at ydyo/ktu.edu.tr "Announcements".
Candidates whose exam results are announced as "Can Take the B1 Exemption Exam" will take the three-session Exemption Exam to be held in the afternoon of the same day.
EXEMPTION EXAM SESSION 1: at 13.00, SESSION 2: at 15.00, SESSION 3: at 16.00.
The sessions will be held in the School of Foreign Language Building, Block B, Floors 2 and 3.
The students whose exam results are declared as A1 and A2 will automatically be placed in a preparatory class at their level in the KTÜ BYS system. You can learn your classes from the KTÜ BYS system before classes start.
Students who are exempt by fulfilling the "conditions for taking the exemption exam and being exempt" specified in the KTÜ Foreign Languages ??Application Directive (e.g. those who have received a valid grade from the exams specified in the YÖK Foreign Language Equivalence table) do not take the placement and exemption exam.
THE NEWLY REGISTERED GRADUATE STUDENTS WHO ARE NOT NAMED IN THE LIST CAN JOIN THE 2ND SESSION AT 10.20 WITH THEIR STUDENT CERTIFICATES.
