📖 Theoretical Preparation
Before coming to the experiment, theoretical preparation for the experiment should be completed thoroughly and the experiment sheet should be read carefully.
❓ Preliminary Preparation Check
The laboratory supervisor checks the preparation at the start of the session. If necessary, the supervisor asks questions to verify that the student did the preparation.
🔧 Experiment Performance – 1/2
Every student in the group will participate actively in the experiment and take part in the wiring and measurement tasks. Experiment performance makes up 1/2 of the weekly experiment grade.
📄 Group Experiment Report – 1/2
After the experiment, an “Experiment Report” must be prepared as a group and uploaded via Google Classroom by the start of the next experiment. Reports not submitted on time are not accepted and the report grade is given as ‘0’. The report makes up 1/2 of the weekly experiment grade.
📋 Report Content
The “Experiment Report” is a formal document and must be prepared carefully: introduction of the experiment, theoretical background and calculations, procedure, measurement results, and overall evaluation of the results. If the experiment supervisor requests, simulations and a comparison of simulation, measurement, and theoretical results are also included.
📊 Laboratory Grade – 15%
The laboratory grade is calculated as the average of the weekly experiment grades and makes up 15% of the midterm grade.
❌ Plagiarism Detection
The grades of groups/students found to have copied in experiment reports are calculated as “0”.
