Karadeniz Technical University Of Faculty of Technology was first established in 2004 by a Council of Ministers decision under the name Of Faculty of Technical Education. While administrative, academic, and physical structuring work was still under way during the establishment process, the Council of Higher Education decided to close all Faculties of Technical Education in Türkiye and to establish Faculties of Technology in their place, to educate engineers with strong practical skills that industry needs.
Establishment of the Department: The opening of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was approved at the meeting of the Higher Education Executive Council on 31.12.2014. Students were first admitted to the Department in the 2018-2019 academic year.
