
Sevda Ağırman completed my undergraduate education in the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Faculty of Science, Karadeniz Technical University in 2021. In the same year, she started her thesis-based master's program in the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Karadeniz Technical University, and graduated with honors in 2025. During her undergraduate studies, she served as the project leader in the TUBİTAK 2209-A project titled "Isolation, Identification of Lipase-Producing Bacteria and Determination of the Potential Use of Produced Detergent-Compatible Lipases in the Detergent Industry." She also worked as a researcher in the TUBİTAK 2209-A project titled "Isolation, Identification of Protease-Producing Bacteria and Determination of the Potential Use of Produced Detergent-Compatible Lipases in the Detergent Industry." Her master's thesis topic, supervised by Hacer Muratoğlu, is "Silencing of the Entry Fusion Complex Genes of Amsacta moorei entomopoxvirus (AMEV)". She has an intermediate level of English. During her master's studies, I was supported by the TÜBİTAK 2210-A scholarship program and the ESPS project.
