Funda Bilgili Tetikoğlu

Funda Bilgili Tetikoğlu completed her undergraduate studies in Molecular Biology and Genetics at İnönü University, Faculty of Science and Letters in 2016. After, she completed her master's degree in Molecular Biotechnology at Karadeniz Technical University (KTU) in 2020 with her thesis titled "Functional Analysis of the Putative Amsacta moorei entomopoxvirus (AMEV) Caspase ORF (AMV063)". During part of my master's studies, she worked on behavioral analyses in mouse models with Tay-Sachs disease at Izmir Institute of Technology. she currently pursuing her doctoral thesis at the KTU, Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, under the supervision of Hacer Muratoğlu, on "Current Approaches to the Use of Recombinant Baculoviruses as Virotherapeutic Agents in Cancer Treatment". She is also a research assistant in the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Faculty of Science, KTU, actively involved in the planning and implementation of experiments in undergraduate laboratory courses. During her graduate studies, she has been working on recombinant protein production, gene deletion via homologous recombination, and molecular cloning techniques in the field of biotechnology; she also researched cancer therapy (oncolytic virotherapy, phytotherapy) and antimicrobials.
