Aligned with the university's mission and the department's program outcomes, the Department of Mechanical Engineering at KTU has set the following educational objectives. Within a few years after graduation, KTU Mechanical Engineering graduates will:

• Demonstrate professional and academic growth with a commitment to continuous learning and self-renewal, and stay abreast of technological advancements.
• Take active roles at national and international levels in research and development activities, product design, and project implementation; effectively communicate and work within interdisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate with professional and civil society organizations, create new business areas with an entrepreneurial approach, and contribute to industrial development through work in priority areas.
