Our Mission
Surmene Faculty of Marine Sciences Transportation and Management Engineering trains qualified officers at international standards for Turkish and world maritime.
In addition, by providing STCW training to sailors of Turkey and the countries around the Black Sea, it eliminates the deficiencies of sailors both in terms of training and certification.
Conducting academic studies for the development of Turkish and world maritime and contributing the results obtained from these studies to the maritime sector are among the priorities of Surmene Faculty of Marine Sciences Transportation and Management Engineering.
One of the main goals is to raise students as individuals who are disciplined, researchers, have broad horizons, can make fast and accurate decisions, and have leadership and management skills.
In addition, Surmene Faculty of Marine Sciences Transportation and Management Engineering contributes to its employees in the pursuit of innovations, knowledge transfer and social improvement.
