The BIOBLACK Project's First Official KTÜ Team Meeting Was Held in Trabzon

The InterregNEXT BIOBLACK Project, led by the Faculty of Marine Sciences at Karadeniz Technical University in Sürmene, held its first team meeting on 12 September 2025. The meeting planned the work and applications to be carried out within the scope of the officially launched project. The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Hacer SAÄžLAM, Prof. Dr. Fatma TELLİ KARAKOÇ, Prof. Dr. CoÅŸkun ERÜZ, Prof. Dr. Ali Muzaffer FEYZİOÄžLU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rafet ÇaÄŸrı ÖZTÜRK, Assist. Prof. Dr. İlknur YILDIZ, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ahmet ÅžAHİN, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasan ÖLMEZ, Assist. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zeki ÅžENER, and Dr. Neira Purwanty ISMAIL.
The BIOBLACK Project aims to protect the biodiversity of the Black Sea and raise awareness on this issue. All relevant stakeholders in Turkey, Bulgaria, and Romania will be introduced to local, invasive, and endangered species in the Black Sea.
