On December 11, 2025, our academicians visited Hami Yıldırım Primary School and carried out marine science education and awareness-raising activities. During the training, the children received lessons from: Prof.Dr. Fatma TELLÄ° KARAKOÇ on water footprint; Prof.Dr. Hacer SAÄžLAM on fishing gears; and Prof.Dr. CoÅŸkun ERÜZ on ghost nets and its ecological threats of marine litter. This activity was conducted withÅŸn the scope of the BlackNETs Project, which will be completed in December 2025, and rhe perviously implemented LitOUTer Project.
