The vision of the Department of Geological Engineering is to become a department which provide education in contemporary and international qualities, to produce information, research and publish, especially on the  research for natural resources, contributing to the understanding of nature, responding to the needs of the society and to educate qualified engineers.

MISSION

The mission of the Department of Geological Engineering is to educate qualified engineers who will be able to work in all fields by providing undergraduate and graduate education at international level. In this context, we will be educating progressive, creative, environmentally sensitive, professional engineers that can work in the world of the future successfully with team work, research and by sharing knowledge, producing practical and quick solutions, and constantly renewing themselves. Thus, significant contributions will be made to the exploration and finding of natural resources which are of great importance for the development of our country.
