Duties:

Under the chairmanship of the Deputy Head of the Department, the Commission is formed by the lecturers assigned by the Head of the Department.

Its task is to ensure that measures are taken on issues related to occupational health and safety in student and research laboratories within the department (such as preparing safety cards, preparing occupational safety forms and having students sign them, checking whether the safety information in the user manuals of laboratory equipment is given). To inform students about occupational health and safety issues in student activities outside the department (courses such as field applications, field camps). In addition, to inform students and department staff about emergency issues with at least one meeting every year.

The Commission holds its meetings before the start of each semester and prepares its report by making inspections and evaluations on occupational health and safety issues and sends it to the Head of Department.
